The Spritual Aspect

 I started on this Post and then decided to check what number Post this will be, as it occurred to me to mention The Spiritual Aspect in it - turns out it will be number 99.

Somehow, that seems appropriate. 

Very few of these posts are concerned with The Spiritual Aspect, yet underlying this whole intensifying Saga of Apocalypse and the Warring Forces of Good and Evil that is generally dubbed 'Conspiracy Theory',  and which inspired this 'blog, is The Spiritual Aspect (the absolute primary inspiration for it was The War Against Russia, disguised as 'The Defence of Ukraine', but now clearly escalating into something much bigger [the CSAR in CSARlog stands for Common Sense About Russia] ) 

That really is what this is all about, and it engages the Personal - the War within our Souls - in microcosm as much as it does the wider world in macrocosm.

And what is happening in this wider world is in turn a microcosm of the War in Heaven, that in Christian terms is the macrocosm.

Nobody expressed this better than St. Paul , Ephesians 6:12 - 

 'For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.'

My reference point, my bias if you will,  is Christianity, and the non plus ultra of that is the Book of Revelation - and the key verse in that in describing what is the underlying dynamic of all that is occurring now is Revelation 3:9 : 'Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie'

But that is my pov.

The most enlightened human being exists on a lower level than the lowest Heavenly Angel, and even prior to the ridiculous excesses of the 20th century - perhaps best articulated by C.S.Lewis: 'Where men are forbidden to honour a king they honour millionaires, athletes, or film-stars instead: even famous prostitutes or gangsters. For spiritual nature, like bodily nature, will be served; deny it food and it will gobble poison' - there was a Cult of Personality whereby entirely flawed individuals were elevated to the status of demi-gods merely because of some extraordinarily developed creative talent ( Ken Russell did a marvellous job of conveying this via P.B.Shelley in the film 'Gothic') 

Having said this, I will indulge in a degree of hagiography concerning an entirely obscure writer named Les Visible.

I have been following his prolific postings on and off for years, but now the switch is permanently on the on button - the combination of his VERY wide Lived Experience (including a more-than-average-amount-of-jail-time) , massively extensive range of Reading right across the Spiritual/Religious spectrum from East to West - and Les most empathises with the Eastern end of the spectrum, yet is most articulate on the subject of the Western expression of the Divine - and consistent and intense spiritual experiences- not to mention becoming an ace street-fighter along the way - provides all the ingredients that would contribute to the manifestation of what is known as a 'Great Writer', as long as he had a similar command of prose.

Which he does, in many spades - all in all making him every bit the equal of previous Great Writer, Experiencer and Truth-teller, George Orwell.

In fact, I would - unprecedentedly- even put him above Orwell in the prose stakes, seeing as Orwell was a studied prose writer, whereas Les is extempore-

The words just rolled out - virtually Actor-Proof -

And this was presumably extempore -'

(In fact the paragraph was this - 

'Rap is a celebration of the animal nature. It's a crotch-grabbing, insecurity dance of the developmentally arrested. It celebrates all that is brutish and carnal in us. It dances like an electric current between the horns of Mammon, these two poles being, booty and bling. It's Materialism of the adolescent sort.'

(Which IS actually the last, unimproveable, word on that wretched phenomenon)
